If you’ve already read the ingredients list, you may be thinking this dish sounds less than appealing, but I promise it does not disappoint. As odd as Frito Corn Dip may sound, trust me when I tell you it will quickly become a family favorite.
What’s great about this dish is it can be served as a dip or a side dish. Making it a great option for cookouts, celebrations, and rainy days. I love it because it’s different than the normal dips and side dishes you see. Frito Corn Dip is always a big hit.
Ingredients:
1 can Steam Crisp Niblets
1 can Steam Crisp Southwestern Style
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream
1 block sharp cheddar, shredded
1 bag Fritos Scoops
How to make the dish:
In a mixing bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and sour cream.
Drain your corn and add to the mixture. Mix well.
Add 1 cup of shredded cheese and stir until combined.
Cover and place in the refrigerator for one hour before serving.
What do I do with the chips?
The answer to this question really depends on how you plan to serve the dish. If you are serving as a dip, you’ll want to just put the chips on the side. If you are serving as a salad, crush some chips and stir in, then top with crushed chips.
