Good ole Southern Pepper Sauce is a favorite condiment to serve with any number of dishes in the South. This pepper sauce using Datil peppers is perfect for greens, peas, fried fish, and much more. In our house, a jar of pepper sauce can always be found on the supper table.
What you'll need
Peppers
Apple Cider Vinegar
Mason jar and lid
How to:
Clean your jar, lid, and ring.
Wash your peppers and remove the stem. *Careful not to puncture the pepper.
Place clean, stem free pepper in the jar
Cover with apple cider vinegar
Refrigerate
*** Refill with vinegar as needed until peppers lose their flavor ***
